Ethics in Publishing

Upon acceptance of a paper, authors will be asked to complete a Journal Publishing Agreement. Please see the Publication Ethics page for more information.
Peer-Review Process
All papers submitted to the JCS journal will be peer reviewed for at least one round. You can find more information about peer review process of the journal in the Peer Review Process page.
Requirements for new submission
Authors are requested to submit their original papers using the submission website. Authors should submit the manuscript as a single PDF file to be used in the refereeing process. To submit your research article online, please go to http://jcomsec.ui.ac.ir

Authorship is limited to individuals who have made a significant scholarly contribution to the research or reported study. Please download PDF of Guide for Authors for more information.
Manuscript Submission declaration and verification
All authors approve the work’s publication tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out. To verify originality, your article is checked by the originality detection service Crossref Similarity Check.
Manuscript Structure
There are no strict formatting requirements for the first submission, but all manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript. However, you can find more information about the manuscript structure in PDF of Guide for Authors. If the manuscript is in LaTex, You can use the JCS Latex template.
Requirement of revised submission
Only when the submitted paper is at the revision stage, authors will be requested to put the paper in to a correct format (MS Word or LaTex) for acceptance and provide the items required for the publication of the manuscript.
After acceptance
The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) must be used to cite and link to electronic documents.
